6.4 Material Safety Data Sheets. Material Safety Data Sheets for the dye should be pre-
pared and submitted in accordance with Fed. Std. No. 313.
6.5 Certificate of Analysis. A certificate of analysis including all the requirements in
Table I should be prepared for the dye.
6.6 Supersession data. This document supersedes DOD --- D --- 51485A, dated 11 July
1986.
6.7 Batch. A batch is defined as that quantity of material which has been manufactured
by some unit chemical process or subjected to some physical mixing operation intended to
make the final product substantially uniform.
6.8 Changes from previous issues. Marginal notations are not used in this revision to iden-
tify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
