DETAIL SPECIFICATION
DYE, DISPERSE RED 11 (METRIC)
Inactive for new design after 27 Dec 1995.
This specification is approved for use by the U.S. Army Edgewood
Chemical Biological Center and is available for use by all Depart-
ments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers two types of Disperse Red 11 dye (CAS 2872 --- 48 --- 2),
chemically known as 1,4 --- diamino --- 2 --- methoxyanthraquinone;
Type I --- for solvent based binders and bowl and V type blenders,
Type II --- for air based fluidized bed type blenders.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 General. The documents listed in this section are specified in sections 3 or 4 of this
specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specifica-
tion or recommended for additional information or as examples. While every effort has been
